The aches and pains and exhaustion you get with the flu. That’s kind of what chronic pain feels like on a daily basis. Like how you feel after an extremely intense workout. Then when you have a flare up its like you’ve suddenly been struck by a speeding truck. Yet, pain conditions like CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) are invisible, which means that many people don’t understand or sometimes even believe the person who struggles with such conditions.
If someone you know suffers from chronic pain of any kind do something kind today to let them know that you are there for them and support them in their struggles. Everyone deserves to know that they are not alone!

About Secret Stains

I wanna do something that matters, say something different, something that sets the whole world on it's ear. i wanna do something better with the time I've been given and I wanna try to touch a few hearts in this life to prove I was here. I apologize if I seem absent minded sometimes. Sometimes I forget I'm still awake and say things out loud. Inside I am beginning to burst at the seams. There are so many secrets ... so many scars ... so many stains. This is me. Welcome to my world.

One Response to Awareness

That’s one thing I’ve noticed a lot of people don’t get with me. I’ve got a lot of problems with pain, but it’s all undiagnosed. Because there’s no diagnosis, it must not be real, right? Even if I had a diagnosis a lot of people wouldn’t believe it. It’s exceedingly difficult to live like that. If only more people understood.
